 Housing and Location
The housing options available to programme participants are rooms located on Trinity's campus. Location: The summer school classes will be held at Trinity College, Ireland's oldest university, founded in 1592, and home of the Book of Kells. Apart from its historical importance, the college with its cobbled courtyard and squares, located in the centre of the capital city, is an appropriate place to embark on a course of Irish Studies. Option A 2008 Trinity Housing (in shared room):Centrally located within the walls of Trinity College, the on-campus rooms are incredibly convenient and cosy. Located a two-minute walk from the summer school classrooms, and in the heart of Dublin's cultural, retail and entertainment centre. All rooms are en-suite with one single bed. Twin en-suite rooms are available for any participants travelling together. The accommodation offers visitors to Trinity College modern facilities within a truly historic location, and many with unique views of the grounds and architecture of the College. A continental breakfast is included during the week. In addition, all linen, household items and kitchen utensils are provided and all rooms have access to a kitchenette for light self-catering.
