Teach in Thailand
2.jpg

Explore ancient temples, and pristine beaches. Ride into the jungle on the back of an elephant, or cruise the sea in a long-tail boat. Take in a floating market in Bangkok, or an all-night Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan.

Thailand is a fascinating mix of historical sites, alluring landscapes and world-famous hospitality—little wonder that it’s Southeast Asia’s most popular travel destination. This is a country steeped in history and hospitality, and with the Teach in Thailand programme you’ll experience both in a way few tourists ever could.

Immerse Yourself

A teaching position in Thailand is more than a job, it’s an adventure.

Experience Thai life first-hand as you teach English at a primary or secondary level. Work at a state school that could be located anywhere from Chiang Mai to Surat Thani. Get the most out of your experience by choosing the length of stay, teaching location and level that are right for you.

Your host school will provide you with all your legal documents, free furnished accommodation and a monthly salary. In return, you’ll be part of a cultural exchange that will provide both you and your students with a multi-cultural perspective.

Along the way you’ll have time to travel the country, meet the locals, sample some of Thailand’s world famous cuisine and make memories to last a lifetime —both in and out of the classroom.

On the Ground Support

Orientation:
If you’ve never taught before, not to worry – you’ll get all the training you need during your 7 day all-inclusive orientation in Bangkok and Kanchanaburi. You’ll take courses on the Thai language and culture, learn the basics of teaching English as a second language and find out more about what to expect in your new job.

But it’s not all work – during your orientation you’ll meet other Teach in Thailand participants from around the world. You’ll also have some fantastic sightseeing opportunities, including a rafting trip down the river Kwae and an elephant trek through the jungle.

Housing:
In addition to paying for your legal documents and providing you with a monthly salary, your host school is required to provide you with a free apartment, dormitory or other furnished accommodation. They’ll also have a school coordinator to help you adjust to teaching and Thai culture and work out the details of your placement.

Teach in Thailand also includes:3.jpg
